Thanks to the Austrian friends of Mazi Uc as over 800 people received eye glasses and medication.

The Annual Free Medical Treatment organized by Rev. Fr. Mazi Uc and his Austrian friends exceeded expectations by lasting for four days instead of the initially planned two days. From the 9th to the 12th of February, over 800 people from Umuezegwu and the surrounding areas gathered at the village square of Umuhere Umuobinaku ward to receive eye glasses and medication.
The medical outreach was a collaborative effort, with six optometrists led by Dr. Canice Dim providing their expertise and services on-site. The event was inaugurated by the Monarch of Umuezegwu Autonomous Community, His Royal Highness Eze Iheme, also known as Egwu Nte III of Umuezegwu.
The impact of the medical outreach was significant, as every person in attendance was attended to and received the necessary medical attention. The community of Umuezegwu and its environs expressed their deep gratitude for such a humanitarian event. The provision of eye glasses and medication not only addressed immediate health concerns but also improved the overall well-being of the individuals who benefited from the outreach.
